The Geuder Instrument Service – Step by Step
Cleaning and Disassembly
Every instrument sent in is first thoroughly cleaned and – where necessary – completely dismantled to make all individual components accessible.
Inspection of Individual Components
All components are systematically checked for function, dimensional accuracy, wear and structural integrity. Both the mechanical and geometric properties are assessed.
Re-grinding and Aligning Cutting Edges
Cutting and gripping instruments are re-ground and aligned to manufacturer standards by our experienced microsurgery mechanics – for a cutting quality equivalent to a new instrument.
Assembly, Functional Check and Final Inspection
After repair, the instrument is fully reassembled and subjected to a final functional check and inspection – before it is cleaned and returned ready for shipment.
