On 15 November 2025, the annual workshop for vitreoretinal surgery took place at the Geuder Academy in Heidelberg. More than 30 participants from Germany and abroad came together to exchange ideas on the latest techniques.
At practice-oriented hands-on stations, the surgeons were able to test state-of-the-art instruments and device systems under realistic conditions.
“The direct exchange with colleagues and the hands-on training are simply irreplaceable,” emphasised Dr Julia Schmidt, one of the participants.
