As a manufacturer of surgical instruments and device systems for ophthalmic surgery, we offer young people the opportunity to complete an apprenticeship as a surgical mechanics technician (m/f/d) or as a wholesale and export trade specialist (m/f/d) every year.
What makes Geuder special is that the instruments are used by surgeons during eye operations to help patients recover their sight.

Our surgical mechanics technicians manufacture surgical instruments such as forceps, needle holders, scalpels, clamps and scissors, maintain them and carry out repairs. What makes Geuder special: our instruments are used in eye operations and are correspondingly tiny and delicate. The manufacture of these microsurgical instruments therefore often takes place under a microscope, requiring maximum concentration and the utmost accuracy.
