Product description
Compared with conventional metal cannulas, the time saved when injecting silicone oils using the polyimide cannulas (PI) is considerably greater. Various silicone oils from Fluoron were used to determine the injection time.
The results show that, on average, the same amount of oil can be injected in 1/4 of the conventional time. Surgeons can thus increase efficiency in silicone oil injection (and likewise aspiration).
